Dog Period

Does anyone know how long dog periods cycle last? Is it a week? Two? :confused:

A dogs season lasts for three weeks or 21 days. The first week coming in then the next fully in and the last coming off. Usually dogs mate in the second to last week, but our bitch mated in the end of the first week. They can become pregnant at any time from the first week.
