Lack of Energy

:confused: My black lab is only 7 months old, and she seems to be very disinterested in retrieving anything. We have lot & lots of land 5+ acres, and she might run for a ball or stick 3 times before laying down. Even in the house, she would much rather walk to the toy instead of run.

Her eyes are slightly cloudy, and all the information that I have read suggest that eye problems, cataracts develop in older dogs.

To add to all of that, occasionally she has been vomitting undigested food. Tonight, she got sick on the floor after going outside, and her food from the morning was not digested.

I am going to call the vet tomorrow, but wondered if anyone else had any similar experiences. This is my first dog, and my husband has had dogs before, and says this is not common of a labs personality.:confused:

I hope your dog turns out to be fine. It is really horrible when your companion gets ill. We have had similar experiences but not the same altogether. Our dog only vomitted about once every month and she is not a pup. The best thing to do would be to go to the vet.

This is not the way pups act, I am glad you are taking him to the vets. She may have gotten into something outside. She definatly is sick, and she is too young for cataracts, this is probably a symptom of her illness. I hope your baby gets better soon, and your next post is she won't stop playing fetch and your tired:)

Just wondering what happened to your pup? Did you end up taking to the vet? and what the outcome was? I am hoping that all went well.:confused:
