Hi Everyone,

My name is Kathy. My husband and I have just adopted a toy manchester terrier. I had never heard of this breed but after we lost our 18 year old baby girl poodle we were looking for another baby to love. Someone contacted me about this puppy. One look at his pic and we were in love.

Jack is a bundle of energy. We haven't had a puppy in this house for 18 years so every day is a new experience for us. Puppy cyclone has hit this area!

Jack is a sweetheart. I've entered him in our local pet of the month club. Each day he either leads or a black cat takes over the lead. If some of you would take a minute to give him a vote we would really appreciate it. It is a very hot race! Just follow this link, click on his picture and click on however many stars you think he should have. We would prefer 5 stars LOL but we will leave that up to you. Let me know what you think of his pic. My sis says he looks like a little fawn.

Thanks Blueboys and Tahlee. We really appreciate the vote!

Tahlee, I had never heard of this breed before either. I've probably seen them but I thought they were miniature pinschers (not sure how to spell that LOL). I went into a local group in this area telling about the loss of our baby (18 year old poodle Tabitha) and I was worried about hubby's depression over it. I explained how we needed someone to love and our only requirement was that it had to be small at adulthood because hubby had a stroke and was disabled. He can walk but the weakness of his left side would leave even a medium sized dog in control. I said we can pay but not much.

Our angel entered the picture to offer us Jack. As I said, we'd never heard of this breed but she sent a photo and we were in love. Jack is a real treasure to have. He is playful and energetic. He seems to have brought hubby out of his depression over the loss of our baby girl. I didn't need to lose my poodle Tabitha and take a chance on hubby grieving himself to further harm leaving me with nobody to love. Jack is a blessing and we thank the woman who gave him to us. God bless his kinky tail! He should grow to about 7 pounds which is perfect for hubby.

Kathy, I was so sorry to hear about your beloved Tabitha. !8 years is a good age for a dog and she was obviously well loved. Run free dear Tabitha!
Jack is just what you and your hubby needed and I think he will bring in a lot of joy to your home. I look forward to hearing all about him and also the pics as he is growing up. All the best!

kathy,
Welcome! And I went to vote, your jack is not on page 3 anymore, as your link says. He is on 4 now, you may want to request people to vote but tell them his full name Jack-a Lope. (cute:)) because there is now a different dog named jack on three, and if someone doesn't know much about the breed your votes could be going to the new Jack. All the pics were adorable, but since you requested I gave your lil (and I mean lil) baby his well deserved 5 stars!
Good luck with your new baby! Glad to hear he is bringing much love & happiness to you & yours!

Lots of people are adding their pets. Each time they do Jack is pushed on position back but he's hanging in there even though he is now on page 7. You're right, there is now another Jack so I'll call my baby Jack-A-Lope now LOL. Thanks for the vote. Here is the link again because it has moved.
