Hi everyone!
I have many dogs, but no puppies in 15 yrs. Took on a 8-10 week old Black and Tan Coonhound that was let loose during the day and chained up at night outside...figured I would have issues with potty training...but man alive...he pees every 10 minutes, even just little droplets, had vet check him out and give me tips....but heres the deal, when he goes he knows it's wrong and he is going to get told NO (never spanked him or rubbed his nose in it, don't believe in that)....but then he runs and I can't catch him to put him on the puppy pad or outside, by the time I catch him it's to late, he's forgotten the whole episode:eek:
Any advise?? Now, he is very timid and does sometimes do the "you scared the pee out of me thing"...we have had him about 1 week now and he is still pretty timid...especially of men....Any suggestions would be great, and thanks!
