Hello everyone!
I just bought a labrador retriever pup today and I'm looking forward to getting all the infomation I can to take care of her. Her name is Maya and she is 7 weeks old today. I'm more concerned about house breaking her. :D

hello! congrats on the new puppy! thanks for signing up! labs are great dogs and are really smart so housebreaking won't be too hard. just make sure she's always by you so you can stop her from having an accident and always praise her when she goes outside. if you can't keep a good eye on her, put her in her crate. she won't go in there. most importantly, take her out FREQUENTLY before she gets a chance to make a mess in the house. good luck! and hope to hear from you often!

Hi Maya! Welcome to the forums! Hopefully we will be putting up some basic training guides shortly... in the mean time, feel free to ask around in the forums w/any questions you have... a lot of breeders have been registering in the forums lately and I'm sure many of them can give you great advice / help.

Also--have you checked out our puppy pictures section? With your forum account you can upload some pictures of your pup and show us how she looks :)
