A few days ago,I was sitting with my 2 chows at home watching animal planet...theyve always had a habit of watching TV with me but i never thought they would actually understand what is happening until a dog rescue show started.
the show put footage of dogs crying,getting hit and some that just looked too sick to even imagine...simply put tortured dogs! as soon as the footage appeared on tv, my female chow Tasha,jumped off the bed,headed towards the screen, stood up on 2 legs and had her face stuck to the tv...barking and crying and trying to knock the tv down...she barked when she saw the dogs being hit and tortured and cried when she saw them helpless and crying of pain...she usually always listens to me when i call her,that day she didnt,no matter how many times i called her name,she wouldnt budge...after a few minutes,her reaction started breaking my heart so i turned the tv off and called her...she seemed so agitated and distracted...then finally came to me,lyed next to me and demanded that i cuddle her...
Tasha did not bark at the dogs since she always sees dogs on tv with me and we watch animal planet alot...she was worried abt her fellow dogs...isnt it wonderful when they show u how truly compassionate they r towards everything...i was just amazed by her reaction and felt even more attached to my baby...
