Hey well i got a 5 month dog and i need tips on how to trian my dog to use the restroom outside? Please help me!!!!!!

Let him out regularly, and watch him. If he goes to the bathroom outside, reward him with a treat or something. If he goes inside, put his nose up to it, hit him on the head, and put him outside. Never put him in a sleeping spot when disciplining him, or else he will be confused because he will think that you are disciplining him when you want him to sleep.
