newborn puppies?

My dog had puppies all day today. But she keeps trying to mess with the baby pups umbilical cords. What should I do? Thank you

Thats what a mother dog is supposed to do for her puppies. she chews off the umbilical cords, then gently guides the puppies to her so they can eat. Just make sure they can breathe and are healthy. Hope this helps!
