which is easier to house train a male dog or a female dog?

I have a choice out of getting a male or a female puppy and i was wondering which is easier to house train. I'm a alittle worried aout having a girl dog in the house because when she goes in heat, then I'm worried about the boy trying to mark his territiory. So any opinions.

i have had both to train. they are equally easy to train. my boy golden never marked in the house, ever. now i have a female schnauzer and yes, when she has her heat, it is kinda gross, just keep a towel under her butt while she is on your furniture if you allow it. but as for housetraining, i did not find either one to be any more difficult than the other. good luck.

Well, I have 2 girls and a boy dog, Personally, i think the boys are easier to take care of all around because even though they mark their territory, the mostly only mark it where other dogs have been. soo yeah thats my opinion. :D
