Hi:
I am a physician. I work in a hospital about 4 to 8 hours 3 days a week I mostly study these days and this is the time that I am at home, most of the day 4 days of a week and half of the day 3days a week.
I have had dogs before.
Till now I have had a low exercise life style but now I am planning to work out more and more. But I really prefer to do it in my apartment on a treadmill.
That was my life.
Now my question is:
I am interested in buying a new puppy and raise her.
I really don't need a yapper because of the neighbors. I can play with the dog and spend time with her and even run on a treadmill for an hour or more with her. But I prefer to do it at home.
I really prefer train the dog do the potty indoor in a special place I made for the dog.
(As it is clear I made up my mind about the gender of the puppy because I have had both genders and I prefer females).
Which breed is the one that fits my life style?
I have some in my mind but your new suggestions are more than welcome. What I thought about were Pugs, Poodles, Mini Bull Terriers.
Thanks
Benign

While I can't recommend a certain breed. I would first check out the dog rescue sites, not professional breeders.

i have owned several types of dogs in the past...if u prefer to stay indoors,i suggest the breed i have now although they re a bit larger than the ones u have in mind...theyre chow chows...theyre very quite and lazy but they do need an occasional outdoor walk...theyre also quite however, make sure theyre always surrounded by cold weather otherwise ure gonna have to shave them and they d lose all their fur...check them out...
wish u the best in ur decision
