So my family has a husky lab and i recently got a Siberian Husky pup. Our husky lab, everytime we turn our head he takes something outside and tears it up. And now my puppy is starting to do the same thing. The thing is, is Chunky (our husky lab) knows it is wrong, but he still does it! how do you train them to stop chewin up everything, we have chew toys and everything they just prefer our clothes, shoes, pillows and blankets, and anything else you can think of.

I had good luck eliminating holes in socks, removed shoe tongues, and mangled remote controls by finding things my dog liked more. tennis balls and bones worked for my old dog. I found the cheapest source of beef bones to be the grocery store which I regularly got for next to nothing(note bones in pet stores are not cheap). be forewarned though, getting the ones from the super market require cooking. I found this easily done by putting the bone on a 1/4-1/2" deep cookie sheet and putting it in the oven at 200-250°F over night. Of course give it a day to cool off.

never let ur dog off the hook...if he does something u think is wrong then deal with him accordingly...u have to show him whose boss in order to have a great companion...if ure not tough enough hell walk all over you...find replacements or play with him a certain amount till hes too tiered and only wants to sit and lie down...for puppies,u should understand that theyre probably changing teeth and chewing helps releive the uncomfort of it all...te older dog needs to be caught and while shes eating up ur stuff b shown that its wrong and ure serious
