Toilet training Aussie

I have an 8 month old Australian Shepherd and don't tell me this isn't possible because I know dogs can be taught to do anything. I'd like to toilet train my dog similar to what cats do so that if I can't take him out or want to switch her from going outside to going inside she can do her business. I've seen pictures of "Gottabe" Aussies using the toilet (peeing squatted over the bowl) and I'd like to teach this to my dog. Anyone have any pointers? =) Thanks!

I don't know anything about that or how cats are train/taught, however I seen a book on how to train your cats, I suggest you read/get books on cats doing it, and try to train your dog the same way or change it abit so it would suit dog needs and ways of thinking/training. I think your training dream is too idealistic for a dog. You gotta be a professional dog trainer before you can get an 8-month dog obey you.
