Hi everyone! My name is Jennifer. I have 2 male Pembroke Welsh Corgis; brothers and 8 months old.

I'm trying to find out the Pembroke's breed size. Some websites say they are small breeds and others tell me they are medium breeds. I'm concern because when my boys reach to 1 year old, most dry dog food are measured by breed size. Can someone help me?

They are small because they are short/low to the ground. Maybe those sites are talking about they need as much food as one? I would rate them as being a small breed although they arnt as small as the other small dogs, hehe, they arnt med sized, dont you feed by weight and not breed. Why not contact the person you got those puppies, a good breeder would help you out.

I never thought of asking the breeders. I did contact them after reading your reply and they said they consider the corgis as medium breed because of the weight (around 25-30lbs). My boys are 20 and 27 lbs already.
