I have a 12 month old Dobie and also a Weimeraner. Both dogs are well socialized and go to doggie care day since they where pups. Trouble is when my Dobie sees another dog he goes nuts.
He cries, barks, whines and tries to get away from me to go to the other dog. Now when I have introduced him to a dog he went nuts about, he sniffs it and then doesn’t care anymore.
Why does he do this? people see him react and get scared. One time a men walking dogs got scared and shouted at me to control my dog. We cant seem to break him of this. Does this happen to anyone else? Is this a Dobie trait? What can I do to stop this?
