Stories Please

Hello all dog lovers. I have a lab/shepherd mix. She is 15 months old and quite the character. We got her from the shelter 1 year ago.
I am a dog trainer and am looking for new stories to tell my students. If anyone has some funny stories (or even some not so funny, but educational stories) that you wouldn't mind sharing with me and me sharing with a few classes I would love to hear them. I find that stories help relax students and if they are relaxed so are the dogs. Thanks.:) :rolleyes:

Welcome Iamme! I have a black lab/german short haired pointer named Sadie....And a character she is!.!!!..Im not sure what types of stories you seek but here is my favorite to tell......Sadie loves to sleep under our bed at night. We feel this may be due to when she was a puppy her previous owner had her sleep in a crate and she might like the small confinement. She keeps her head popped out just enough so she can see us if we get up. Sadie usually goes right under shortly after we all go up to turn in and after about 10 minutes of playing with her favorite squeakless hamburger.My fiance Doug and I talk alot before we go to sleep catching up on eachothers day and everytime we say her name we can hear her big otter tail waggin as it hits the side of the frame. It is so funny. Sadie will not come out until the morning when Doug wakes up....as soon as the alarm goes off and she hears him, she comes out and immediatly lays on her back for her morning belly rub. This has happened everyday for the past 2 weeks. We have had her for about a month now. Its her own unique nightly routine:)

That is a great story and one I will probably share with my classes. We all like little stories like that. That is why I seek them out...all kinds. I find people relate better if you have a story to tell. Thanks for sharing.
