Hello, I have just joined as a animal lover to hear experiences and see pictures.
I have a 6 year old Sharpei/Beagle who has recently beome deaf due to severe ear infections.
There is a possiblity that he had a heart attack during his last flushing procedure but it is just too stressful for him to endure vet visits that we really can't be sure. Every prior visit had to be accomplished ith anesthesia which my vet is not willing to put him through again and I really agree unless we have a mjor event. "Andy" has since been plagued with allergic reaction to something and we are fighting with comfort for him at this point. Anyone with a deaf dog I would love to hear from with tips as we are on a daliy learning experience.
