What do I need do?

I've been thinking about getting a Pembroke Welsh Corgi when I get older. For now, I'm not getting one because I'm in high school currently. With college just a couple of years away, I want to have a good schedule for me to take it out for decent exercise everyday to keep it healthy.
I was wondering on what do I need to do to prepare to get a Corgi pup when I'm older? Is there anything I should research on or prepare for before hand?

hello sarah, anyone should always research anything they buy especially when its pets.

i would suggest bokks, or simply talk to the breeder you buy one from. luckly enough the welsh corgi is not a difficult breed of dog to own, a basic knowledge of dogs would be fine as a starter for this breed. ;)
