I just found this place! I have a Labrador, Hawk - who's 13 months old! I've been trying without much luck to find who has her sire. I'd also like to listen to other folks raising these wonderful dogs!

have you checked with AKC? (assuming he is akc registered) if you have his akc number you can order a pedigre online. www.akc.org the pedigree will list the breeders name. and you can go from there. good luck!

Yeah... I checked with AKC. Yes! She's registered with them! They said they couldn't help me. Phfffft! Something about them not keeping track of those kinda things. I think that's dumb... what the heck do they do, then? Folks register their pure-bred dogs and give them all the important info concerning them, and then they can't give me the place where the sire -that's on the pedigree they sent me - is living so I can look his folks up to seek a mate for her when I'm ready for it.
