Why dogs are better than cats:

Fun - Kittens play, cats sleep. Dogs are always out to have a good time.

Hair - Some dogs shed a lot, but other breeds are very manageable. Unless you want one of those weird alien cats you're gonna have hair all over your apartment.

Loyalty - Your cat doesn't give a fig about you, your dog's your best friend.

Usefulness - Cats are mouches. Dogs help the blind see, find lost children, and fetch the morning paper.

I had a cat who liked to play "football" with the neighbor kids!!! He would chase them around the yard...it was hilarious.

I like both. I do agree that dogs are usually more fun to play with, but I do have a big fat white cat named White Cat who adopted us more than 10 years ago. He's very different that other cats. He'll just go right up to you and plop on your lap with a big smile (He seriously smiles or frowns when he's happy or mad!).
