hey! my parents have a portuguese water dog, not many people have heard of them that i've met so far. her name's izzy. she's going on 13 (!!). THEY'RE GREAT DOGS. when she was younger and i lived at home she was my buddy but now she's my mom's best reading partner. she'll at my mom's feet or put her chin on the armrest of the chair and peek into the book. love her to death. she's got some hip problem and arthritis that she's getting treated for and her eyesight is going on her. basically she's getting older. but she's still a good dog. just thought i'd share with you my experience with a portuguese water dog. thanks for joining up!
