I'm the author and I hope you enjoy it; it is my first book and this story will be included in my new book "Dad, Dog and Fish".
I do not write for profit (but I'm not against a $$$ check either), but to honor those who mean so much to me. My lab was a great dog, as I'm sure those who have the good fortune of knowing a good dog, think of their own buddies as such.
The back cover of the book has this quote from me:
"I have known more worthwhile dogs than I have known worthwhile humans. I hold this truth to be self evident. Blue skies, golden fields and birds on the rise forever, old friend." I think that about says it all.
