strange aggression

I rescued a 3 year old jack russel mix (ginger) about 3 weeks ago she seems freindly maybe a bit shy even she has not acted agressivly at all she is good with other dogs walks without a leash doesnt chase birds cats or anything else well today i gave her a pig ear as a treat and my husband went to pet her and she bark and showed her teeth.. i love this girl but need to fix the agressivness.. she is fine with food and contact ... i am lost on this one please help!!!

hmp, that was strange...she's not aggressive before then when you gave her a pig ear her behavior change??? Correct me if I'm wrong...I don't think that is the reason while she change...

Your best bet is probably to talk to a trainer, they will show you the proper responses to her when she shows this behavior, and why she is doing it.

If she's showing agression over treats and things of that sort your best bet is to talk to a trainer, they'll show you ways to "take" things to her and get her used to being touched while she has things like that. I'd reccomend watching dog whisperer as well, he usually has great tips for things like that. GL :)
