My dog has been started on some cardiac meds which the vet said should not cause stomache upset----the first 4 days they did not. But this morning I gave her the Lasiz, Benazepril and Vetmedin on an empty stomache, and she threw it up....my first question. I should not give them again until the next dose as i do not know what got down her...right? And I started her on K/D for low sodium. I mixed it in with her home cooked food to gradually get her stomach used to it, but this morning her stools were runny. Could this be the change in food? I know if this continues for more than a day, I will take her to the Vet..but just wondering if anyone has had the same experiences. Thanks!
