another one to ponder- what breed??

Hi everyone, I am new to the forum. We recently adopted this approx 6 month old female from a shelter in Stanford, KY. She is very lean, weighing 25 lbs. She loves to be active, is very intelligent, seems to be somewhat of a birder- even points, and loves to snuggle on the couch with mom and dad.
so far some of the guesses have included any mix of the following: Lab, Border Collie, PitBull, Basenji, and Whippet.
Any ideas???

I would say she does have some american staffordshire in her with the ears and the shape of her face

I'd deff say some type of pit/lab mix, mayve with basenji (due to the ears) or bull terrier? Adorable pup though.

You can definately see the labrador in her. Although I would guess that pitt bull is in her as well. Something of more slender build must be in there as well. Possibly Greyhound or Doberman.

I Googled "Lab Whippet" and the images that came up looked a lot like her!

Yes, it really does. I just relooked at your post and saw the 25 pounds.

A whippit lab would look about right. Whippets have ears very similar to your dog.

Really looks like a basenji mix. Just because it is black doesn't indicate lab. They get blamed for anything that is basic black. Could be 20 other breeds involved.

That's a hybrid dog for sure. I just don't exactly what it is. :D
