Hi all, I have been busy moving into our new home, setting up my kennels and taking care of the house and kids. Oh the husband comes in there somewhere.. So now we have dial up as we are too rural for anything else.
We moved from Portland, Oregon to La Pine, Oregon. Big change for all of us. Before we moved up her my Dog Regann had 8 pups, I sold one and will be keeping 2 of them to show.
I have a young lady that is wanting to job shadow so she can get into dog training school but I have been having problems with her.
One she thinks it's funny to go up to my truck and scare Regann and make her bark. I have worked really hard to teach Regann to be a very social dog as she is in training for thearpy work and I have started her in tracking. So this has set me back a bit. Today she came over and when she should of been watching the pups she was busy playing with the horses I was cleaning kennels and 5 of them took off and went into the BLM land behind the property (525 acres) I had to take off on the quad and find them. Got them all back. It was very frustrating these pups are worth a lot not in just monatary value but in love and time I have spent with them. These pups are like my children.
I want to help her but I don't need these set backs. Any suggestions would help.. I have been working with Children and animals all my adult life and don't like to turn any of them away.
