At the Bridge

We lost one of our Collie boys today. It started about 10 days ago with a light nosebleed and turned into a systemic infection that we couldn't get under control. He lost his fight today.

We cut and tied the cords for 6 big boys, and I stayed up all night with this one to make sure he kept breathing. I guess I always knew that he would be the first to go, and that he would go early. Just wasn't ready for it to be this early.

I am so sorry about your lose. I will keep you in my prayers and I am terribly sorry. Loosing dogs is always the worst pain imaginable. He was very gorgeous. At least you have happy cherised memories of a wonderful dog.
