Doggy Diet

Lately I have noticed that my pup has put on some weight and I am getting worried that she is becoming increasingly more overweight each day. Does anyone have any suggestions on how I can shed some pounds of my pup other then the obvious answer of exercise (which we do regularly)? I have tried putting her on diet food but it doesn't settle well with her stomach.

Any pointers would be greatly appreciated!

Try backing off on the food but feed more frequently through out the day, some dogs need to always have food in their stomach or the acid becomes a problem.....if you feed 2 cups, just spread it out through out the day.

Great advice but slight problem - I am not home during the day because I work. I come home at lunch to let her out b/c I work only 10 minutes away. Is 3 -4 small portions a day enough to qualify as spreading out?

Definately.....3 times a day is probably fine.
