Well my anatolian shepherd is now one year old and this is just a little update. This is my first anatolian and he is one of the most amazing dogs I have seen. He is the biggest suck in the world and loves attention. We live on a cattle farm and every morning the first thing he does is go round up the cattle and make sure that they are all together, after this is done he is satisfied and comes back to the house. He is very playful and loves all other dogs, but sometimes forgets that he has to be careful due to his large size. He has tested us a time or two especially when it came to sharing his food, but we have constantly been playing with him and the food while he is eating and now he will share. He loves to go for truck rides and is really just like another member of our family. The best part about him is that sometimes my husband is away at work and I feel 100% safe bieng at home with him. Nothing will get near my house with out me knowing anything that is new must be investigated by him or he will bark until he knows it is okay. These really are an interesting breed of dogs.
