This question is for my fellow golden owners or whoever might know? Recently over the winter my boy Hunter's nose has slightly changed from black to a slightly colored pink. Now I'm wondering if it could be from the cold weather or maybe it's just how he's growing. I know goldens can have pink noses but Hunter just seemed to change during the cold winter months. Would love to see him get his black nose back but he still looks "tops" even with a little pink. Just curious about this. Hope everyones best friends are happy and healthy.

Don't worry, it's normal. It's called a "snow nose" and it happens in the winter months. It's common in yellow Labs as well and usually once they're a couple of years old. My 2.5 year old yellow girl got a bit of a "snow nose" this year too.

That's great, thanks for the piece of mind though I still wouldn't care if my boy had a little pink on the nose though I do love his nose when black. Thank you for your reply Kinderwood.
