hey everyone! I just got a bullmastiff that is a brindle color and six weeks old. She is adorable and playful but I can feel myself already starting to get a bit frustrated with the house training. To be honest this is the first dog that I have. And I had no idea what I should do to expediate the process. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Hi tc1stgen & welcome to the forum, I would suggest to you to try crate training your puppy. It really helped me house train my Aussie terrier Bailey. There is a thread in the training section of the forum that will teach you how to do it.
Good luck!

You might look into puppy training classes. I know the ones at PetSmart include a potty training seminar. don't forget that patience and consistency is the key.

thank you everyone for the warm welcome. I can tell already that this is a great community.
The puppy is doing great already. She is only six weeks old and she is doing great already. She is going when we take her outside and she has been doing real well on the paper. I have been told that she is too young to be crate trained but to use paper and encourage going outside. That is what I have been trying and so far so good. There a couple of accidents here and there but nothing more than you have to expect with a puppy.
The kids absolutely love her and have been giving her plenty of loving. She is extremely cuddly and already on her own goes into her crate to sleep.
