Hello from Australia

Hi everyone, i'm new here:)
I live in Melton, Victoria Australia on a 30 acre property with my husband, my 2 horses & My 2 Australian Terriers Jessie & Bailey. I am in the process of starting a small breeding program dedicated to these wonderful little dogs & have just purchased my foundation bitch puppy, which will be joining my family in 5 weeks time, so I am very excited!:)
I still have alot to learn, but I will have to wait a year for my puppy to grow to breeding maturity anyway. In the meantime I will probably start showing her. My Male Aussie Terrier Bailey (my heart dog ) is going to be my main stud dog to start with. Jessie,my first Aussie, is 10 years old & is like a daughter to me.:D

So it will be great to talk to other dog lovers from around the world & share ideas & opinions on all dog related subjects.
I look foward to chatting to everyone in the near future.

That's really cool, that you're going to breed! I know, I tell everybody this but I'm just so proud, my aunt is breeding her yorkies for the first time ever and I'm getting one of the yorkies!
If you don't really know how to breed, I saw a book at the bookstore and it said, "Breeding for Dummies", and it was about breeding your dogs. The Dummies books are excellent and I would recommend it.
There was also one for showing, I am pretty sure, but if you got the book "Australian Terriers for Dummies", there will probly be a section on showing them. Because in my Yorkies for Dummies book there is a section on showing.
