Hello to All
I was pleased to find a forum for dogs, I never thought to look for one before but have been looking for some information on dog nutrician.
I have two male staffs, one of which enjoys a James Wellbeloved diet (A) and the other who lives on nervous energy..! (M) They are both different in personality and behaviour, A - 10yrs Stocky obediant good apetite & M - 7yrs obediant wippet like no appetite. M will attack any animal that crosses his path and will even cry throught the window to get at animals of all sizes. He has to be muzzled when off the lead and will still try to start a fight.
He has a jaded history and is rumoured to have been owned by travellers and used for fighting. He displays all the staffy traits of affection and obediance he really is a lovely dog to people just not animals. HOWEVER, he has only been with us for 4 months and has formed an affectionate bond with A, eating running and sleeping together, even sharing and playing with toys together.
It really is bizarre to think that with any other dog he is agressive and unpredictable yet with A he is so different.
I am looking to take M to behaviour classes to try and correct his animal agression, he misses out being on the lead most of the time. I also am looking for some dietry information as M is very slim. If anyone has any details of websites or books that give this kind of information then i would love to know.
