hi i am new to this site,i also had that question i have a saint bernard that turned 12 weeks today.and he still has his dew claws because the breeder did not have them removed.so i wondered if i could still have them removed or not? thanks

You could, but it would be a major surgery at this point. There's only a small window of opportunity within the first few days of the pups lives where the breeder must decide whether to remove them or not. After that, it becomes a major procedure because they are no longer cartilage but bone. At 12 weeks, it's just best to just leave them on now IMHO. You just need to be vigilant about keeping them clipped.
