Hello, i'm new here. Name's Gina. Married to Ryan, with one 3 year old son Owen. Also mom to Mason the AKC Lab, and Salli our rescue Basenji mix. Both are 6 years old. Also mom to Chico my Meyers Parrot. Looking for help with Salli, everytime she sees another dog she goes into "kill" mode. She went as far as to break out the backdoor and chase off a stray pit bull in our neighborhood. Which we haven't seen since. Any tips would be welcome! Would love to hear about others rescue stories or any stories about your "kids". !

you should probably bring your dog to a trainer who can help him work past his dog aggression.

I would love to do that, but living in Lincoln Ne, so far the only trainers i have found only deal with potty training, obedience and hunting. I need Cesear to come here! Do you have a husky? I did. I got her back in 1995 and we had to put her to sleep last year in June. Her name was Nakita, she was a red/white with blue eyes. She was 14 when we put her down. Deaf, going blind, had arithritis and bad hips. I came home one day and found her in the basement, when i went to touch her, she didn't hear me and she grabbed my hand and tore my finger wide open. Had to have stiches. What color is yours? Is it stubborn and like to talk? Mine did. Would love to hear more about yours!
