Hey I was just wondering what people thought about the miniature schnauzers. Does anybody have any advice or information about them? I just want to know what they are like, thanks.

if you want a schnauzer, i recommend the standard size. when dogs are bred down in size they loose many of the traits that make them a good ideal of the breed. (when poodles were bred down much of the breeds intelligence was lost). a good way to help appeal to a dogs instinct is to engage your dog (this applies to almost any breed) in exercises that are similar to what the breed was first intended for. I put a harness on my Siberian Husky and attach her to a red wagon to pull around my friends little brothers, which helps her to also learn when it is appropriate to pull (when her harness is on) and when it is not. and dont forget that any dog, giant, standard, toy or teacup, ALL need exercise.

It is my experience that schnauzers need lots of excercise. They are High energy dogs. Need lots of room to run. Good dogs, and good with people. Good Luck !
