Hello all!
I would like to introduce Zymurgy's Kismet Victory Malt, Kizzy for short.
She's a 9 week old pure bred Otterhound. Otterhounds are a rare breed with less than 1000 world wide. Only 40 pups born in US and Canada this year as compared to 60,000 Goldens.

Kizzy has her own website if you would like to meet her and find out more about her and her breed. It's http://www.privateinspect.com/kizzy/

Greetings from Dana & Kathy (Kizzy's human pack members)

Thanks!
We are currently deeply researching everything we can find about the breed.
We've made lots of new friends at the Otterhounds of America group and are setting up her early training. We plan to show her and want to do it right. she has championship lineage. Kathy bred and competed Rotties in the past and is getting the itch again. This should be interesting. It is expensive though. We got a "deal" on Kizzy but I have never paid so much for a dog in my life!:rolleyes:
Thanks again,
Dana

Great! You'll have to let us know how she does. I know exactly what you mean about the expense. In hunt tests, they say that you spend about $1000 per ribbon- and they are about right when you add up all your expenses (i.e. travel, hotel, training, food, vet, etc.). Our chocolate girl Blue (the one we run in hunt tests) was also pretty expensive, but she's very well-bred and worth every penny. I wouldn't trade her for the world!

Good luck!

hi and a very big warm welcome to you:)

Hi, and thanks.
Kizzy's Grand sire or dam is from the UK. I forget which.:o
Her Sire is Ch Aberdeen's Object of Desire
and Dam is Scentasia's Truth or Consequences
