Hello all and happy new year. i stumbled on this forum while doing some research on the Dandie (?) dinmont terrier that I recently saw on a televised dog show. I was very taken by this little fellow, although I already have a "little fellow" of my own. Rocky is a 14 year old, small (20 lb) blond cocker. He has been blind for about 2-3 years and is about my best friend - as I am his! If anyone has any thoughts about owning a blind dog, I would love to hear from them. Rocky makes his way around by gently bumping into things with his nose and has been able to accomodate a number of moves. He DOES have difficulty coming when called, he doesn't seen to recognize the direction of the sound. But he manages to find me no matter what room I'm in! Anyway, thanks for any help you can offer. Jo
