Newfies have been a part of our family for about 10 years. Our dogs are a big part of our family and are not kennel raised. We have litters occasionally, blacks and browns.

Birchbark is a small, family kennel. We have been involved with the breed since the early 1970's. We strive to produce a beautiful, healthy Newf with sweet temperaments. We are proud members of the Newfoundland Club of America, Atlantic Canada, Italian SAT, & Coastal Crescent KC. We complete genetic tests for hips, elbows, hearts, and cystinuria. Lifetime support is provided. Many of our Newfs have gone on to complete their championships, obedience, Search & Rescue, and Reading & Hospital Therapy titles.
