I and my family have owned, raised, and bred Mastiffs since 1984. I have actively worked with Mastiff rescue and am a member of the NC Mastiff Rescue group. All of our puppies are raised in a loving home environment. We advocate and use puppy aptitude testing in the placement of our puppies. We require placement contracts, all pet puppies are placed with spay/neuter contracts and limited AKC registrations. We do actively breed for the show ring, but consider our greatest accomplishments to be the breeding of loving, intelligent, trainable companion dogs. We stress temperament, general health, longevity, intelligence, trainability, and overall structure in our breeding program. All dogs used in our breeding program are health tested--OFA of hips, elbows, hearts, and thyroid; CERF exams; DNA PRA Clear; VwB testing, and cysturnia. Our goal has always been quality over quantity. We also encourage puppy buyers to research carefully before buying any puppy -- esp. a Mastiff.
