Houston's Great Danes has a passion and a love for this gentle giant. We only do approx one breeding a year sometimes not even that. We breed only to improve and uphold the standard of the breed. With each breeding we give great consideration to all aspects, first and most important being temperament, we do not believe a show dane is just for showing we believe that the dog is first a family member and then a show dane. We begin socializing our puppies from day one, they are not whelped in our kennel, mom is always kept in the house and the puppies are whelped in our dinning room. This way they are exposed to the entire family, not only our children but our other pets to include cats and birds. We do health testing and we do sell our puppies with a puppy contract.
