I've been involved with the Cavalier breed since 1990, I have my own animal care business limited nowadays to just cats and dogs, I'm a member of the CKCSC USA, Inc. the American Cavalier and the English Cavalier Club, I follow all the clubs' guide lines for breeding my Cavaliers, we show within a 1 to 2 hour range of River Falls, WI, sometimes more. Pets and show dogs for the people most interested in the breed.

Winterhaven has been striving to produce dogs of exceptional temperament, and excellent health, as well as beautiful breed type that conform to the breed's standard since 1980. We have finished 46 AKC titles. All puppies are raised in my home with love. All parents have been tested prior to breeding for MVD by a board certified Veterinary Cardiologist and are also cleared by a board certified Veterinary Ophthalmologist for any hereditary eye problems. I am a member of the ACKCSC, CKCSC, USA, and the vice president of the Badgerland Cavalier King Charles Spaniel Club.

I am a retired show breeder of Cocker Spaniels. I am also the founder of Shorewood Cocker Rescue, INC. I have decided that a smaller breed with less coat would work better for me now. I breed Japanese Chin and King Charles Cavalier puppies. Generally one litter of each per year. My dogs live in my home and so puppies are born inside as well. I live on the WI/MN border.
